In 1826 the publication of Ohm's law;
" The current in a circuit is directly proportional to the applied voltage and inversely proportional to the circuit resistance"
defined the relationship between voltage or electromotive force, amperes or current and resistance or ohms and was proven through experiments by Physicist, Professor of Mathematics and Professor of Experimental Physics George Ohm.
